Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires familiarity in medical terminology, electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming environment. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar. Handle phone systems to answer calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls appropriately. Maintain accurate medical records, including filing and retrieving documents. Process patient information using computerized systems, ensuring data accuracy. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations. Provide support when necessary to assist diverse patient populations. Qualifications Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks, is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing/scanning and documentation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in using phone systems and computerized office equipment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
