Job Description

Front Desk Appointment & Treatment Coordinator Cheaha Family Dentistry - Talladega, AL We are an established general dental office located in Talladega, AL. We treat every patient like family and are known for our gentle, compassionate, accommodating, and friendly doctor and staff. We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and high energy person to serve as the welcoming face and essential communicator of our practice. This position mixes a combination of Guest Services, Front Desk, and Marketing/Public Relations. We are seeking an individual with a "retail mentality" that can bring a "How can I help you?" approach to our dental office. Prior dental experience will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing exceptional customer service (A MUST!), addressing patient questions and resolving concerns promptly and courteously. Assist in building trust and rapport with all patients. Answering new patient calls & emails Scheduling & confirming patient appointments Ensure patient records are current, up-to-date, and accurate Verify insurance coverage for each patient and note changes in benefits Present and explain treatment plans, fees, and payment options to patients Coordinate patient treatment with specialists Coordinate financial arrangement, insurance claims processing, and collections. Collect copays and deductibles from patients at time of service Communicate effectively between clinical staff and patients to optimize patient flow.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a dental or medical front desk role preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with dental practice management software. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to exceptional customer service. This is currently a full-time position. Our hours are Mon-Thurs from 8:00-5:00.
