Job Description

Bray Family Medicine is one of the only independently owned primary care clinics in Arkadelphia, Arkansas providing comprehensive, personalized care to individuals and entire families — adults and children of all ages. We deliver high-quality care using an innovative team-based model led by Shelly Bray, M.D. Dr. Bray is a trusted board-certified family medicine physician who has been caring for patients in the community since 2006. Our healthcare team includes clinical providers, mental health counselors, complex care managers, registered nurses, medical assistants, operators and receptionists working together to support the values, healthcare goals and individual needs of our patients. We are seeking to hire a new member of our team to assist with rooming patients and receptionist duties.
Rooming Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history into computer Prepare equipment and examination rooms Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies Clean exam rooms, equipment, and instruments
Receptionist Responsibilities:
Answering telephones to schedule appointments Patient check-in and check-out processes Enter registration and insurance information into patient's electronic health record Verifies insurance benefits and obtains necessary information needed Collects patient payments Printing off paperwork, collecting signatures, and scanning in patient documents Help patients by providing information, services, and assistance Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Qualifications:
Prior work experience required High school diploma or GED required Experience with medical terminology is preferred Medical licensure is not required but preferred (MA, LPN, CNA, student nurse) Must be able to learn quickly on the job in a fast-paced environment Computer and telephone skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and team members in a courteous and friendly manner at all times Must be detail-oriented and highly organized Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
