This vital role ensures smooth clinic operations by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your proactive approach will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service and supporting the overall efficiency of our healthcare facility. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service at the front desk Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification to facilitate smooth billing processes Collect and process payments, including medical collections and billing through medical coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10) Manage medical records accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation review Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately Maintain clinic operations by managing patient intake, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications Skills Extensive experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or Dentrix Proficiency in medical billing, coding (ICD-10, CPT), and documentation review processes Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding standards, and healthcare compliance (HIPAA) Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with Eaglesoft or Dentrix is a plus Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations are highly desirable Prior clinic or dental office experience with medical administrative support and office management skills Exceptional customer service skills paired with effective phone etiquette and multi-tasking abilities This role is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about healthcare administration.
