Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Front Desk Agent for a growing optometry Practice. Someone who will be the welcoming face of our practice. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care by managing check-in and check-out procedures and providing accurate information on insurance benefits . You will be the point of contact for scheduling our patients. Your enthusiasm and professionalism set the tone for a memorable experience fostering a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide a warm and professional greeting to all patients. Manage office flow using multi-line phone systems and practice management software. Address patient inquiries and concerns with a proactive attitude. Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure timely patient care. Perform daily financial audits and reconcile transactions. Maintain accurate patient records in strict accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Verify all insurance benefits while maintaining accurate records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bilingual proficiency. Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail. Commitment to a 40-hour work week and reliable transportation. A team-oriented approach to fostering a positive work environment. A desire to gain industry-specific knowledge and training.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
