Job Description

Medical Phone Receptionist Job Description We are seeking a part-time detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our team at Western Vascular Institute. You'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care by managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients with their inquiries. As a Medical Phone Receptionist, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude. Our ideal candidate has a solid customer service approach and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure you provide professional and compassionate service to our patients. Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments. Provide general information to patients about our services and policies. Verify patient information and update records as needed. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient communication. Handle a high volume of calls with efficiency and empathy. Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met. Skills + Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a medical office or similar setting is preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. Familiarity with medical terminology/Vascular is a plus. Proficiency in using phone systems and EMR systems. (NextGen preferred.)
