Job Description

Our highly service oriented, cutting edge Endodontic Dental practice in Phoenix is looking for a skilled Dental Front Office treatment Coordinator. This position is a vital resource within our practice and brings a wealth of clinical and operational skills necessary to take our practice to the next level. Salary based on experience. We offer a complete, appealing compensation package including medical benefits, vacation, holidays, 401K plan and bonus incentives.
Essential Functions:
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting new and existing patients, make sure all patient information is entered correctly into the EMR, scanning, follow up on unscheduled treatment, appointment confirmations. Proper handling of patient inquiries and concerns, and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. Provide information about the Practice, locations, contracted insurance companies, services provided. Insurance verification Must be able to learn/understand various insurance plans, PPO, HMO, discount plans and AHCCCS Transmit information or documents to patients, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. Must always represent the practice in a professional and pleasant manner. Must maintain regular consistent and punctual attendance in accordance with assigned schedule and time off policies. Must be comfortable and efficient when handling deadlines and task assignments. Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings. Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented. Occasionally there may be some travel between locations Other duties and tasks as assigned periodically.
Success Factors:
Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards. Adhere to strict safety guidelines and procedures to OSHA and office standards. Must be detail oriented in order to prepare and process business correspondence. You must be flexible and understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to "help out" in other areas of the office. Must demonstrate active listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Good interpersonal skills to maintain positive rapport with patients, dentists, other staff members and community Effective verbal skills to communicate clearly and professionally with patients and staff Professional personal presentation
