Job Description
Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Front Office Coordinator, where your energetic and organized approach will be the heartbeat of our patient experience! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verifications, and communicating with patients. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure smooth daily operations, creating a welcoming environment that keeps patients coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to excellent dental care and outstanding customer service. We are a doctor owned dental practice that provides exceptional quality care and experience for our patients. We focus on comprehensive care, providing our patients with aesthetic dentistry, dental implants and other oral surgery, tmj therapy, and iv sedation. We are a FFS/PPO office. We have a great team with a positive office culture. Attitude is everything, we are looking for the right person to fit in. Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software Verify insurance coverage and benefits. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating medical records and collecting co-pays Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and directing calls appropriately Maintain accurate documentation review of patient records, treatment plans, and billing information in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform insurance verification and authorization processes to facilitate smooth billing and collections Strong knowledge of dental terminology combined with dental coding expertise including CPT codes, ICD-9/10 coding for accurate billing and documentation Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar platforms Experience with dental billing processes. Familiarity with health information management practices ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient privacy protection Prior clinic or dental office experience.
