Job Description

Overview Busy and growing family practice is seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is confident in a fast-paced medical office setting, has strong communication skills, and understands the importance of patient care from the very first phone call to check-out. This position is best suited for someone with prior medical front office experience who is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Answering phones and responding to online appointment requests Scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments Checking patients in and out Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits Collecting copays, deductibles, balances, and other patient payments Taking accurate messages and routing them appropriately Updating patient demographics and insurance information Assisting with referrals, records requests, and general front office tasks as needed Maintaining a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude with patients and staff
Ideal Candidate:
Has previous medical front desk experience Is reliable, punctual, and professional Can multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team Has excellent customer service and communication skills Is detail-oriented and able to follow office procedures Can remain calm and organized during high-volume patient flow Understands the importance of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Preferred, but not required: Bilingual English/Spanish eClinicalWorks EMR experience Prior experience in family practice, primary care, or internal medicine

Hours for this position may range between: Monday•
Thursday:
7:30 AM•6:00
PM Friday:
8:00 AM•4:00 PM Saturday rotation: 8:00 AM•12:00
PM Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
