In this key role, you will work directly with patient, physicians, and medical staff to schedule eye surgeries, manage appointments, and assist with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate must be highly reliable, punctual, and able to maintain flexibility with scheduling needs in a busy ophthalmology practice.

Job duties include:

Scheduling surgeries, reviewing surgery and consent forms. Educating patients, communicates pre- and post-operative instructions, including medication regimens and appointment times. Collecting patient payments, deposits, or surgical fees prior to the procedure. Answering phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely, professional manner, verifying insurance information, obtaining authorization, faxing, scanning, and obtaining referrals. Need to be reliable, and willing to travel. •Will need to be able to travel to both locations: NW Tucson and Oro Valley.
