Medical Receptionist

Job Opportunity:

Front & Back Office Assistant at Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Clinic Approximately 15-25 Hours per Week, Some Saturdays Required Are you a responsible and outgoing individual with a passion for holistic healthcare? Our Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Clinic is seeking a dynamic person to join our team as a Front and Back Office Assistant. This is a part-time position offering approximately 25 hours per week, with some Saturday availability required. The role offers the opportunity to work in both administrative and clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

Front Office:

Greeting and checking in patients in a welcoming and professional manner Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments Assisting with new patient inquiries, gathering necessary information, and directing them through the intake process Managing patient records and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date Assisting with insurance verifications and obtaining necessary authorizations for treatments and services Communicating with insurance providers to confirm coverage and resolve any issues

Back Office:

Assisting healthcare practitioners with patient intake and documentation Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked and organized Managing inventory and ordering supplies Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization processes is a plus

Schedule:

Approximately 30 hours per week Some Saturdays required (typically 1-2 Saturdays per month)
