The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent patient service abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental office operations. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, verify insurance benefits, and facilitate smooth communication between patients and clinical staff. Your expertise will ensure an efficient front desk environment while supporting the overall patient experience and practice success. Requires 3 Years of treatment coordinating experience with Strong case acceptance Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service at all times. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Open Dental. Verify insurance coverage and benefits, HMO and PPO Collect payments, handle billing procedures Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Assist with new patient intake, medical history updates, and documentation review to ensure completeness and accuracy. Coordinate communication between patients, clinical team members, and insurance providers to facilitate care plans and treatment approval processes. Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette while handling appointment confirmations and inquiries efficiently. Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and maintaining organized medical records. Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office applications to generate reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office setting or healthcare administrative support role with strong front desk responsibilities. Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance verification processes. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Open Dental ,or similar platforms. Experience with dental billing, collections, and documentation review procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and office workflows. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence and phone etiquette. Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Ability to handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining confidentiality.
