Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Biller / Front Desk to join our dental practice.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes. Call patients to remind and confirm their upcoming appointments. Verify patient insurance coverage, collect co-pays, and update records accurately within Dentrix. Prepare and submit dental insurance claims and pre-authorization to Medi-Cal, HMO, and PPO insurances. Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement. Create daily production report and monthly collection report. Assist patients with billing inquiries, explain treatment costs, and facilitate payment plans when necessary.
Requirements:
Proven experience in dental billing and knowledge of CDT codes. Understand insurance eligibility, benefits, calendar year maximums and deductibles. Experience handling collections and insurance claim processing efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in billing and recordkeeping.
Pay:
$23.00 - $31.00 per hour
