Medical Receptionist

Front office medical receptionist for a very busy ambulatory surgery center, specializing in Ophthalmology, Pain Management and Podiatry. The hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 6:00-3:30, Friday's 7:00-11:00am This position is responsible for: running the front office, overseeing and maintaining a full schedule.

Clerical duties include:

intermediate to advanced computer skills, scheduling, collecting accurate and thorough patient demographic data, filing, patient check in, critical thinking, faxing, emailing, multi-line phones, chart preparation and meeting required timelines. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate with other team members. Billing and authorization experience preferred. Minimum 1 year experience preferred. Experience with Google Suite and Practice Management software. The best candidate will : Live in Grass Valley, Nevada City, Colfax or Auburn Have a mature, professional demeanor. Be patient and compassionate with our diverse clientele and staff. Be a self motivated, detailed oriented and have superior organizational skills.
