Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Bilingual spanish speaking Dental Receptionist to join our team. Dental billing experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Schedule and confirm appointments using eClinicalWorks software. Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Review documentation for completeness and compliance with medical standards. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth office operations. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality. Skills Strong administrative skills with proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar software. Excellent customer service and patient service skills to foster positive relationships. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practices. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance standards. Experience as a medical receptionist is preferred but not required. Ability to perform coding tasks accurately and efficiently. Proficient in 10 key typing for data entry tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
