Medical Receptionist - Fluent in Korean

Fluent in Korean and English We are an ophthalmology practice looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team as a front desk receptionist. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, but not required. Punctuality, ability to multitask, strong organizational skills, ability to work in a team environment desired. We are fully paperless, with both electronic medical records and scheduling/billing systems (Modernizing Medicine). Must have excellent computer skills. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting patients Answering and managing phones Scheduling appointments Collecting and verifying insurance information Identifying payer sources, verifying insurance eligibility and verifying prior authorization. Registering and checking in patients Collecting payments Maintaining patient flow on clinic and surgical days Maintaining accurate patient information in the EMR Data entry Filing Surgery scheduling Will also train to perform basic clinical duties, which include operating diagnostic testing equipment, bringing patients into exam rooms, and having patients read the vision chart.
