In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and organized mind behind our clinic's front desk, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation. You'll coordinate treatment plans, verify insurance details, and support the clinical team with administrative excellence. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient office operations. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties Greet patients warmly, manage appointment scheduling, and handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and process claims using systems like Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks Review and update patient records accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist in the preparation and review of treatment plans, including documentation of care plans and CPT coding for billing purposes Manage dental billing processes, including coding with e claims Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, managing intake procedures, and ensuring a positive clinic experience Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or dental clinic environment with front desk responsibilities Strong knowledge of dental terminology is recommended eClinical Works, Dentrix is highly preferred Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and perform insurance verification efficiently Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and health information management practices Strong organizational skills with clerical experience in office management or medical administrative support Join us in providing outstanding healthcare services!
