This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing front desk duties, and maintaining accurate medical records and any other tasks assigned by the office manager. The ideal candidate will help create a welcoming environment, assist with patient check-in and scheduling, rooming patients, and handle all medical records. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others and being part of a team focused on quality patient care. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly and create a positive first impression by using good phone etiquette and maintaining a professional attitude. Manage patient check-in and check-out, including scheduling follow-up appointments and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) like Practice Fusion. Candidate will be responsible for requesting, sending, and obtaining medical records in a timely and accurate manner to support continuity of patient care and ensure proper documentation is maintained in compliance with applicable regulations. Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while providing clear communication and support to patients and staff Requirements Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such Practice Fusion. Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes Ability to review documentation thoroughly while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Previous experience in medical clinics is preferred; clinic experience is highly valued Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join our team where your enthusiasm helps us provide good patient care.
