Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced professional, organized and bilingual receptionist to join our behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and also capable of coordinating multiple providers during a shift. Duties Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner. Manage incoming calls using phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel. Familiar with insurance companies and differentiate Medicare, PPO, HMO, Commercial, Medicaid, and Managed health plans. Handle calendar management for appointments and ensuring efficient scheduling. Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and office management tasks as needed. Assist office with medical records medical and send records to agencies according to laws and regulations. Provide customer service support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Patient check-in and record management. Collaborate with team members to enhance office efficiency and workflow. Qualifications Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with office equipment and phone systems is essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Attention to detail with strong proofreading abilities is highly valued. Knowlege of insurance health plans. Ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients and staff. Proficiency in office management software is desirable but not mandatory. •
PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE
