Job Description

Job Summary At Concierge Dentistry, we believe visiting the dentist should feel welcoming, comfortable, and personalized. We are a high-end, patient-focused dental practice known for exceptional customer service, strong patient relationships, and outstanding clinical care. We are looking for a warm, professional, and highly organized Front Office Receptionist who enjoys helping people and takes pride in creating an exceptional patient experience from the moment a patient contacts our office until they leave with a smile. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding service, and being an important part of a collaborative team. Duties Patient Experience & Hospitality Welcome patients and guests with warmth and professionalism Scheduling & Patient Coordination Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Prepare charts and ensure records are complete before appointments Manage the daily schedule to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Coordinate patient flow with doctors, hygienists, and assistants Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and overdue hygiene visits Help maintain a productive schedule by filling openings and cancellations Administrative & Financial Responsibilities Verify and update patient information Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility Answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner Operate a multi-line phone system, route calls appropriately, and take detailed messages when necessary. Review treatment estimates and discuss financial arrangements with patients Collect co-payments and account balances Process payments and maintain accurate financial records Submit and follow up on insurance claims when needed Scan, upload, and organize patient documents and records Team Support Communicate effectively with the clinical team Assist with office projects and administrative tasks Help maintain an organized and professional front office environment Contribute to a positive workplace culture and team atmosphere What We're Looking For Friendly, outgoing, and service-oriented personality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and demeanor Positive attitude and willingness to learn Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Create a positive first impression and ensure patients feel comfortable and cared for Check patients in and out for appointments Offer exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and through text/email communication Assist patients with questions regarding appointments, treatment recommendations, and office policies Experience Previous dental front office experience preferred Experience with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft) Familiarity with dental insurance verification and billing Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements is a plus What Matters Most to Us At Concierge Dentistry, we believe skills can be taught, but character, personality, and mindset are much harder to train. While previous dental experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person. Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
