As our Front Desk Administrative Assistant, you will serve as a welcoming first point of contact for patients while providing essential administrative and patient care support to the Migraine Clinic within the UCLA Health Neurology Department. In this front-office role, you will coordinate patient flow throughout the clinic, from registration and appointment management to discharge, while assisting with scheduling, insurance verification, and other administrative functions that contribute to an efficient clinic operation and an exceptional patient experience.
Hourly range:
$26.42-$37.49
Qualifications Required:
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high volume setting. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments Skill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment making process, including transportation arrangements and maintain sub-specialty physician schedules Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate multiple appointments with staff from many clinical services at the
UCLA Medical Center Preferred:
Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and Email Skill in demonstrating work experience with a database computer program Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided Knowledge of medical terminology Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
