This vital role combines exceptional administrative skills with compassionate customer service to ensure a smooth, positive experience from the moment families walk through our doors. As a Pediatric Dental Receptionist, you will manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient records, and front desk operations—all while maintaining a lively, energetic atmosphere that reflects our commitment to children's oral health. Your enthusiasm and organizational prowess will help create a welcoming environment where kids feel safe and cared for. Duties Greet patients and their families warmly, creating a positive first impression and ensuring a friendly, professional atmosphere at the front desk Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft , coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility Collect payments, process co-pays, Maintain accurate patient records by reviewing documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations; update EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems diligently Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, practicing excellent phone etiquette while scheduling appointments or addressing patient inquiries Assist with intake procedures for new patients, ensuring all medical history forms are completed correctly and entered into the system Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred, especially in pediatric settings Strong knowledge of dental terminology Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks including insurance verification, appointment scheduling, filing, and data entry with high accuracy Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing skills (10 key typing), and familiarity with health information management practices Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations in a busy clinic setting Exceptional customer service skills combined with strong organizational abilities to manage front desk operations efficiently Join us in delivering exceptional pediatric dental care by providing outstanding administrative support!
