Job Description

Overview Join our cheerful general dental practice as a Front Office Receptionist! Our small boutique office has been super fortunate and boasts a wonderful team that works cohesively to take care of our patients. My fabulous receptionist has been with me for 8+ years but she is needing extra help as she is expecting and will be taking a leave in a few months.
THIS POSITION IS NOT TEMPORARY, YOU WILL STAY ON AFTER HER MATERNITY LEAVE UNLESS YOU DON'T WANT TO.
You will coordinate appointments, manage patient records, and support clinical staff with administrative tasks. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us create a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and efficient check-in process. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software (Eaglesoft), ensuring optimal patient flow. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing using Vyne Trellis Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries and redirecting calls as needed. Maintain organized medical records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support clinical staff by managing patient intake forms, updating medical histories, and coordinating treatment plans. Skills Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), office management software like Eaglesoft would be super helpful Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism.. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, documentation review, and medical records management.
