Full-Time Join Our Growing Cardiology Team Premier Cardiology is seeking a professional, organized, and patient-focused Front Office Coordinator to join our busy cardiovascular practice. This position serves as a vital part of the patient experience, ensuring smooth check-out processes, scheduling follow-up appointments, coordinating testing, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced medical environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality service to our patients. Responsibilities Check out patients and finalize visits in our electronic medical record system Schedule follow-up appointments and physician visits Coordinate diagnostic testing including: Echocardiograms Cardiac Monitors Treadmill Stress Tests Nuclear Stress Tests Vascular Studies Advanced Imaging Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately Schedule new patient consultations and follow-up appointments Confirm appointments and testing schedules Contact patients regarding missed appointments Coordinate with medical device representatives when necessary Obtain insurance authorizations as assigned Forward physician orders to hospitals and imaging facilities Process medical records requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Prepare and distribute new patient packets via mail, fax, or email Monitor electronic messages and assist with front office workflow Cross-train in patient check-in functions as needed Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous medical office experience preferred Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment Dependable, detail-oriented, and accurate Computer proficiency required; EMR experience preferred Knowledge of cardiology practices and procedures is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills What We're Looking For Friendly and professional demeanor Ability to remain calm under pressure Strong attention to detail Team-oriented attitude Commitment to providing outstanding patient care Benefits Premier Cardiology offers a supportive team environment, opportunities for growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients' cardiovascular health.
