Job Description

Spanish speaking mandatory Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a wide range of administrative duties. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth daily operations and positive patient experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency with dental and medical office systems, and a passion for delivering outstanding care support. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Open Dental, while managing multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette. Verify insurance coverage, PPO, HMO and Medical Confirm dental appointments Collect and review patient documentation, including intake forms, medical history updates, and consent forms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage patient records electronically , maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth clinic operations and support care plans by reviewing documentation thoroughly. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area while managing office supplies and filing systems efficiently. Experience Prior experience working in a dental office environment is highly preferred, especially in roles involving front desk or administrative support. Demonstrated proficiency with dental practice management software such as Open dental is essential; experience with EMR systems like Epic or Meditech is advantageous. Familiarity with health information management standards including HIPAA compliance is necessary to protect patient privacy. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with multi-line phone systems are expected. Bilingual Spanish is a must please. Previous Dental experience involving insurance verification, intake procedures, and appointment scheduling will be highly valued.
