Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, hardworking Front Office Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join our primary care team. This position is often the first point of contact for our patients, so we are looking for someone who is professional, welcoming, organized, and able to provide excellent customer service in a busy medical office setting. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. Prior medical office experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is motivated, personable, and eager to learn.
Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:
Greeting patients warmly and checking them in/out Answering phones and assisting patients professionally Scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling appointments Verifying insurance eligibility and patient demographics Collecting copays, balances, and payments Scanning, uploading, and organizing documents in the EMR Assisting with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests Communicating with providers, medical assistants, and patients Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office area Helping with general office tasks as needed Qualifications Friendly, professional, and patient-focused attitude Dependable and punctual Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Good computer skills and attention to detail Ability to work well with patients, providers, and coworkers Medical office experience preferred EMR experience preferred Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required Desired Traits We are looking for someone who is: Warm and welcoming Hardworking and dependable Honest and trustworthy Organized and detail-oriented Calm under pressure A team player Willing to learn and help wherever needed Schedule Full-time or part-time may be considered.
