Seeking a passionate Dental Reception & Business Coordinator to join our patient-focused team. No prior experience is required. We are willing to train on the job and guide career development for the right person.

Positive Attitude Pay Range:

Hours:
Negotiable part-time or full-time position. 2-4 days/week. Working hours are typically 9am-6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday. How to

Preferred Qualifications:
Equivalent to High School Diploma or general education degree (GED), Candidates from background in healthcare, debt collection, hospitality, fast-paced restaurants or retail banking are encouraged to apply
Essential Duties:
Primary role is to get patients to come into office and warmly connect with patients Interact in a friendly, receptive manner for all patients in the office Provide a friendly and welcoming environment for all patients in all forms of communication and in person. Answer any patient communication in a timely manner including answering phones, emails, and text. Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently Schedule appointments within our dental office scheduling parameters Set-up office accounts and patient charts for new patients with accurate information and in accordance with office policies Assist patients with navigating online portal Helping patients complete office forms Assist in coordinating patient flow with the back office and notify back office of each patient's arrival Collecting and recording payments into the office management software Check any messages on the office answering machine and return all calls promptly Confirming patient appointment of all patients in accordance to office policies Verify, coordinate, and communicate patient copays, fees, and insurance benefits with patients Answer prospective and existing patients on basic clinical questions and any financial and insurance questions Create and explain financial arrangement solutions to patients Discuss and follow-up with patients on treatment plans and financial arrangements Actively participate in office clean-up to maintain a clean, neat, and welcoming office space Be able to take dental X-rays if needed (will be trained) Be able clean and turnover dental operatories Perform other duties as assigned Provide critical care in managing day-to-day clinic operations. Utilize management skills to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using Dental Management Software. Support the smooth functioning of the clinic and dental office. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare management standards. Offer administrative support in a dental office setting Manage the office Social Media accounts including postings, post interaction, new patient acquisition, image and post editing, marketing photography and video editing and acquisition, and other related social media related tasks
Skills and Knowledges:
Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks in an organized and accurate manner Ability to read and understand documents such as insurance forms, legal forms, Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, staff, vendors, and other members of the business community Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios. Ability to be cross-trained and perform back office work such as take X-rays, sterilization if needed
Pay:
$19.00 - $39.00 per hour
