Job Description

Ramona Physical Therapy has an opening for a full-time medical receptionist, Monday
  • Friday.
The ideal candidate must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment, be a quick learner, well organized, work well in a team environment and communicate well with patients. Knowledge of electronic medical records, insurances, referrals, and authorizations is preferred, but not required. Spanish speaking preferred, but not required. Full time benefits offered (medical, dental, vision, vacation, sick, 401k) Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • maintaining high level of customer service with patients
  • daily scheduling and confirmation of patient appointments
  • responding to a high volume of incoming calls
  • collect copays, coinsurances, deductibles (and explain payment policies, billing procedures, patient financial responsibility)
  • health insurance verification
  • health insurance authorizations for physical therapy
  • send faxes
  • prepare and create patient charts in EMR system Ramona Physical Therapy is owned and operated by Physical Therapy & Hand Centers, Inc.
. Physical Therapy & Hand Centers, Inc. is a San Diego based, PT owned private practice with seven locations in San Diego County.
