The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, providing exceptional patient service, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the medical office. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in software systems (CGM clinical and Microsoft products). Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic. Manage patient scheduling, including appointment bookings, confirmations, and follow-ups. Handle incoming calls on a multi-line phone system with professionalism and courtesy. Collect patient information and verify insurance details for accuracy. Maintain medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and maintaining office supplies. Collaborate with healthcare providers to manage care plans and coordinate patient services effectively. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred. Proficiency in medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, and insurance verification processes. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as CGM is highly desirable. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite; experience with multi-line phone systems is essential . Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction and support. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
