Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with a strong knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of our medical staff. An ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining patient records, answering telephones, greeting patients and scheduling appointments.

Responsibilities:

Receive, answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and timely manner. Promptly answer and forward incoming email. Scheduling appointments. Checking insurance Assist in answering non-technical questions from patients, their families, outside vendors, physicians, nurses and other hospital staff. Maintain current knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures. Perform administration duties as defined by the facility or supervisor. Bilingual in Vietnamese is preferred
