This role manages patient interactions, scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and recordkeeping to ensure a smooth experience from check-in to check-out. Experience with Open Dental software is
STRONGLY
preferred , particularly for billing, insurance claims, and eligibility verification. Key Responsibilities Greet patients happily and provide excellent front desk customer service Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility Process payments, co-pays, and handle billing/collections Submit and track insurance claims; support accurate coding and documentation Maintain organized, HIPAA-compliant patient records Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly Support daily administrative tasks and coordinate with clinical staff Qualifications Experience in a dental (preferred) or medical office Proficiency with Open Dental (billing, claims, eligibility verification) Knowledge of dental terminology, insurance processes, and coding basics Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, EHR/EMR systems) Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bilingual is a plus Join our team and play a key role in delivering a seamless, high-quality patient experience while supporting a positive and efficient practice environment.
Pay:
$25.57 - $30.80 per hour
