This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at coordinatingplex surgical schedules while delivering exceptional patient service.Key Focus:
Surgery Scheduling This position plays a critical role in coordinating surgical procedures from start to finish. You'll work closely with providers, patients, and care teams to ensure all surgeries are scheduled efficiently, accurately, and with all required authorizations in place. Stronganization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Pay - The anticipated wage for this position is between $34 and $38 . Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors. What You'll Do Coordinate and manage surgery scheduling, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and proper authorizations Communicate with providers regarding scheduling preferences and urgent patient needs Serve as a central point of contact for patients regarding surgery appointments, preparation, and logistics Handle front desk responsibilities including check-in/check-out and patient intake Answer multi-line phones, route calls, and respond to non-clinical patient messages and CRMs Verify insurance, authorizations, and required documentation prior to appointments and procedures Maintain and update electronic medical records and internal systems Manage iing faxes, mail, and clinic documentation Support overall clinic operations and uphold high service standards Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Surgery scheduling experience strongly preferred (non-entry level role) Stronganizational and multitasking skills Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative workflows Experience with EMR systems and Windows-based software Excellentmunication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations Why This Role If you're detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in coordinating surgical procedures, this is an opportunity to play a vital role in patient care behind the scenes—ensuring every step of the surgical scheduling process runs smoothly.
