Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a Front Office Medical Receptionist to support daily operations in a busy outpatient cardiology clinic. This role serves as the primary front desk contact and plays a key role in delivering a positive, professional experience for patients and visitors. This is a temporary contract opportunity with the potential for extension or permanent placement based on clinic needs and performance. The position is fully onsite and supports smooth patient flow and accurate front office operations. Key Responsibilities The Front Office Medical Receptionist will be responsible for: Greeting patients and visitors and providing a welcoming, professional front desk experience Managing patient check‑in and check‑out processes Answering and routing incoming phone calls using a multi‑line phone system Scheduling appointments and coordinating visit logistics Verifying and updating patient information in the EMR system Reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy Collaborating with providers and clinical staff to support daily clinic flow Maintaining patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
Compensation:
$19/hr-$21/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
