Dental Receptionist Dr. Man's Dental practice INC West Covina, CA Job Details $18 - $22 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Patient care Associate's degree Full Job Description We're searching for a diligent dental assistant to provide support to our dentist's office. You'll be responsible for supporting our dental staff, helping prep for examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, scheduling appointments, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. Compensation:
$18 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:
Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures Support staff with administrative duties such as saying hello to patients, answering phones and making appointments for upcoming dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing Give patients advice on a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures Aid dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by handing them dental instruments and make sure patients' mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
Qualifications:
Applicants should have basic data entry and computer skills Must have an associate degree in an accredited dental assistant program Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service Excellent multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills About Company Why Join Us?
