The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient service. A medical/dental background is preferred, but we are willing to train the right addition to our team. As part of our front office team, you will assist with patient scheduling, insurance verification, new patient intake, and answering phone calls in a fast-paced environment. Your position will be crucial in helping ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for all patients. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional front desk customer service. Schedule appointments efficiently Verify insurance coverage and benefits Manage patient intake processes, including data entry and documentation review for accuracy. Assist with patient check out at completion of appointments and collect the appropriate copays and deductibles Skills Familiarity in dental/medical clinic operations Knowledge of dental terminology is a plus Ability to perform insurance verification accurately Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong clerical skills including data entry (10 key typing), and document management Ability to discuss and collect any patient balance due Process and post patient payments Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and proper health information management Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
