Medical Receptionist Full Time Position

Job description The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a highly motivated, friendly, full time Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Receptionist. Schedule is Monday - Friday. 8-hour shift. Responsibilities Include Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for patients Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner Collect co-pays and account balances Answering multiple phone calls Scheduling appointments Send clear and professional messages to doctors on behalf of patients Verifying insurance coverage Prior Authorization for Radiology and Outpatient Physical Therapy (we will train) Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

Able to reliably commute to your scheduled location. Must be able to commute to at least 3 of our other locations as needed. Must be able to work the closing shift 12p-8pm at least 2 days a week. High School Diploma or equivalent. Higher education a plus! Previous experience in the healthcare field a MUST. Physical Therapy or Pain Management a plus! Excellent multitasking, organizational and organizational skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
