Monday- Friday, 8:30am- 5:00pm
Position Summary :
The Medical Receptionist is responsible for greeting and initiating the patient check-in process for all patients to ensure efficient and timely daily office schedules. The Medical Receptionist will also handle a high volume of incoming phone calls while working simultaneously with staff, Providers and patients.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Welcome and greet all patients and visitors. Schedule and confirm patient appointments. Register patients and verify insurance eligibility. Collect payments through various software systems. Utilize phone system, fax machine, printer, copier, and scanner for all office functions. Maintain a clean and organized front office appearance. Other general administrative office duties.
Skills/qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred. Computer proficiency including Microsoft applications. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail. Experience in women's health preferred. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply to learn more about all the position has to offer!
