Medical Receptionist

If you would like to be a part of our team and make a real difference in people's lives. The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist . The Medical Receptionist is responsible for assisting clients and staff in a busy Outpatient Behavioral Health Unit. They will be a bi-lingual Spanish speaker working within the guidelines, policies, procedures and mission of the Child and Family Guidance Center; understands and supports the Agency's strategic plan and its Values. Salary - $19hr The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following

Essential Functions :

Greet clients and visitors, in person or on the telephone answering or referring inquiries. Performs general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing. Assist psychiatrists with making phone calls, scanning, copying, and faxing. Follow office policies and procedures. Maintain patient accounts by validating all personal and financial information. Maintain, record and process clinical results as requested by clinical staff. Maintain confidentiality of client information. Manage correspondence to and from community providers, families, pharmacies, and other organizations involved in care. Assist in coverage as needed. Ability to work collaboratively with others while meeting deadlines. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Qualifications :

Bi-lingual Spanish speaker is required. High School Diploma or GED is required. One to three years' medical office experience required. Experience using medical records is preferred. Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing

Schedule:

A 40hr work week Monday - Friday, 8 to 5
