We are looking for someone who is professional, friendly, and customer-service oriented, with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail is essential, as this role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for every patient who walks through our doors. While previous experience in the aesthetic industry is a plus, it is not required—we are happy to train the right person who brings a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Our team values professionalism, efficiency, and compassion. Job Summary As the first point of contact a receptionist should:
- Greet patients with a positive and welcoming attitude
- Answer phones professionally
- Schedule and update appointments
- Remind patients of upcoming appointments
- Answer general questions
- Maintain and update patient demographics and intake forms
- Process payments
- Assist with various office tasks such as faxing, scanning, mailing, etc.
- Assist with waiting room and general office maintenance (displays, cleanliness, etc.)
- Support other staff as needed in downtime
- Attend and support patient events (2-4/year) The receptionist should also be familiar with HIPAA compliance and best practice in a medical setting, or willing to complete the appropriate training.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) system preferred.
Qualifications Required:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous front desk or customer service experience (1-2 years minimum) Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
Experience in a medical or aesthetic setting Knowledge of common aesthetic treatments and terminology Bilingual Schedule and Compensation Part-time 2 days a week, Tuesdays/Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m., possibly switching out for other days depending on surgical schedule (would be discussed weeks ahead of time) Paid 30-minute lunch.
