Job Description

About the Role We are looking for a friendly and organized Dental Front Desk Clerk to be the first point of contact for our patients. You'll keep the front office running smoothly - managing appointments, handling insurance, and ensuring every patient has a welcoming experience from check-in to checkout. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Verify dental insurance eligibility and process claims Collect co-pays and patient payments; post to accounts Maintain and update patient records and demographics Prepare new patient paperwork and intake forms Coordinate with clinical staff on daily schedule flow Manage correspondence, filing, and general office duties Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy and data handling Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) 1+ years of experience in a dental or medical front office preferred Familiarity with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) a plus Knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills Professional, calm demeanor - especially with anxious patients What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Supportive, team-first work environment Opportunities to grow within the practice Compensation details: 10000 Yearly Salary PI82753f4dcd12-6376
