Clinical Receptionist Location:
New Haven, CT Schedule:
37.5 hours per week - standard work hours, 8am-530pm
Pay Rate:
$28.43 per hour Position Summary We are hiring a Clinical Receptionist to provide high-level front office support across multiple medical specialties as needed. This role is critical to delivering a positive and professional patient experience and requires flexibility to support different clinical areas. The Clinical Receptionist performs routine administrative duties, supports patient flow, and serves as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and visitors. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level front office reception support to multiple clinical specialties Perform patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and visitors Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments Provide clear and accurate information to patients and guests Update patient demographic and insurance information Notify patients of appointment changes, cancellations, or rescheduling as needed Perform routine administrative tasks to support clinic operations Required Qualifications Previous experience working in a medical office setting Professional and effective telephone manner Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and interpersonal communication abilities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness Proven reliability and excellent attendance Ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information while fully complying with HIPAA regulations Preferred Skills Experience using Epic Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel Additional Information Must be able to work flexible hours when needed to support clinic operations This role supports multiple specialties and requires adaptability and a patient-focused mindset Apply today!
