Must be outgoing and personable. Dental or Oral Surgery experience is a requirement. This is a fast-paced position and office which requires excellent phone and communication skills. Must be proficient with computers and scheduling. Experience with filing insurance is needed.
Resposibilities:
Greeting patients as they arrive, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed. Scheduling and cancelling patient appointments. Treatment planning and presenting treatment plan to patient. Electronic filing patient forms. Office duties including document filing, scanning and creation of patient profile, answering the phones, collecting payments, interacting with referring offices. Communicating with patients before and after appointments to answer all questions and or concerns. Confirm insurance information and clearly communicate billing status with patient and office. Establish and maintain patient care and billing documentation. Ensure doctors have necessary patient information from referring providers.Qualifications:
Excellent phone and in-person communication skills. Organization, time management and multi-tasking abilities. An understanding of the dental office procedures and workflow. Computer literacy in basic applications like email and Microsoft Office.Dental Front Desk:
