Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! Spanish Bilingual and Open Dental experience. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere that promotes positive patient experiences Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems "
OPEN DENTAL
" Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification efficiently Schedule appointments using dental office management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft, coordinating multiple schedules seamlessly Collect payments, process medical collections, and handle billing tasks with precision and attention to detail Maintain accurate medical records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer multi-line phone systems professionally, providing excellent patient service and addressing inquiries promptly Assist with medical administrative support including filing, data entry, and managing medical records in EMR systems such as Meditech or eClinicalWorks Support clinic operations by reviewing care plans, managing documentation review processes, and assisting with medical coding including
CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9
coding standards Qualifications Prior experience in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred; strong dental terminology knowledge is a plus Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Meditech, or Athenahealth; familiarity with electronic health information management is essential Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10-key typing) Strong understanding of medical billing, coding (ICD coding), insurance verification, and Medicare processes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations Office management experience including clerical duties such as filing, documentation review, and office organization Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding patient care through exceptional administrative support.
