Job Description

Overview Join our specialty team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will be the heartbeat of our dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from scheduling appointments to managing patient records. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional dental care while maintaining efficient office operations. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Dolphin, Cloud9 and Carestack Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications efficiently Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly Handle medical collection processes and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Assist with intake procedures, medical administrative support, and front desk duties to ensure seamless clinic operations Prepare documentation for care plans and review medical records for accuracy and completeness Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized medical records Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical or dental office setting Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical billing practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and office management software Ability to verify insurance benefits accurately and handle insurance claims processing efficiently Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone manner and strong communication abilities Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Experience working with multi-line phone systems, medical records management, and clinic administration preferred Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and health information management practices Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and data entry tasks Join us in making a difference by providing outstanding administrative support that keeps our dental practice running smoothly. Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
