Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors alike. In this vital role, you will manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records with precision and professionalism. Duties Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk responsibilities with enthusiasm, including answering multi-line phone systems and managing appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and perform insurance verification to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating medical histories Handle medical billing tasks and medical collection efforts with attention to detail Support clinic operations by managing appointment confirmations, patient follow-ups, and documentation review to ensure thorough care plans are in place Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, managing office supplies to keep the front desk organized and efficient Skills Proven experience in a dental or medical office environment with strong knowledge of dental terminology Proficiency in EMR systems Eaglesoft and TDO is highly desirable Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing accuracy, and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to verify insurance coverage accurately and handle billing inquiries confidently Bilingual capabilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Experience with clinic management tasks such as appointment scheduling, intake procedures, and health information management Embark on a rewarding career where your organizational skills and passion for helping others will shine.
