Job Description

Overview Join a dynamic and innovative startup as a Dental Front Desk and Insurance Coordinator! In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face of our new dental practice, ensuring smooth daily operations while providing exceptional patient service. Your expertise in insurance verification, medical billing, and office management will be vital in creating a positive patient experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Duties Greet patients warmly, manage patient check-in and check-out processes, and handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Verify insurance coverage using Open Dental. Review and process insurance claims accurately using Vyne, billing to ensure timely reimbursements. Manage appointment scheduling using dental office management software; coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments. Maintain organized medical records and dental records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Conduct insurance eligibility verification, documentation review, and billing support for Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance providers. Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients with intake procedures, explaining treatment plans, and answering inquiries related to insurance benefits or office policies. Qualifications Must know how to use Open Dental Must be familiar with Dental Intelligence Strong knowledge of EMR systems such as Open Dental and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential. Experience with insurance verification, claims processing, and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Excellent phone etiquette, typing skills (including 10-key), and ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing; prior clinic or dental experience is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple administrative tasks seamlessly. Join us in shaping the future of dental care! Pay:
$22.00 - $29.00 per hour
