Medical Receptionist

Job Description:

Fast paced Walk-In Medical Clinic, looking for a highly motivated medical receptionist to join our professional medical family here at Physician Care Walk-In Clinic. You will work directly with our friendly staff and the Doctor to provide excellent patient care. We have a Full Time position available. The clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. Staff hours are on a schedule, but may vary somewhat depending on patient volume. Medical Receptionist duties are as follows: (We will train all tasks below as needed) Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone Checking patients in/out of the clinic Collect patient responsibility per insurance benefits (copay/coinsurance) Verify insurance benefits Answer patient phone calls, address patients' concerns/questions and document conversations when needed Perform data entry such as updating patients' medical histories, demographics, insurance information, etc. Post patient charges and payments Balance charges, payments and cash drawer Filing of charts and documents We look forward to meeting you and having you join our team to provide superior, professional care to our patient community!!
