In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verifications, and administrative tasks with efficiency and professionalism. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth daily operations and foster a positive environment that keeps both patients and staff motivated and satisfied. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private plans. Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries, confirm appointments, and direct calls appropriately Perform insurance verification and authorization procedures to facilitate smooth billing processes Maintain organized medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality Assist with billing procedures by understanding CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and medical billing practices related to dental services Support office management tasks such as filing, documentation review, and maintaining office supplies Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure accurate documentation review and proper care plan documentation Skills Need to speak Spanish. Proven experience in a dental office or healthcare front desk role with strong office management skills Familiarity with dental terminology Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft Knowledge of health information management standards including HIPAA compliance and documentation review processes Excellent customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and strong communication abilities Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with insurance verification processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers including Care Plans management Join us in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for from their first contact!
