Front Desk Medical Receptionist

Job description We are a busy and patient-focused ENT medical office dedicated to providing high-quality care in a professional and welcoming environment. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk team member to be the first point of contact for our patients. The Front Desk Receptionist plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical setting. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries Verify insurance information and collect co-pays Maintain accurate patient records and demographics Handle referrals, authorizations, and basic administrative tasks Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior medical front desk or healthcare experience preferred (ENT experience a plus) Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus Strong computer skills and experience with EHR systems preferred Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills Professional appearance and positive attitude What We Offer Supportive team environment Competitive pay (based on experience) Benefits package for eligible employees (medical, PTO, etc.) Stable daytime hours (no nights or weekends)

Pay:
