The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This position requires proficiency in EMR, strong communication skills, and a basic understanding of medical terminology and billing processes. The Medical Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations within a fast-paced medical environment. Duties Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar Complete recalls/call backs Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff members Verify insurance coverage and assist with insurance billing processes Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information Collect payments Other duties as assigned
